In my mind this is just political grandstanding as the waterboarding issue is moot having been banned for the CIA in 2006....also I am sure that everyone is giving less attention to the 19 approved methods of interrogation that are supported. There would be a lot of leeway that could bring these "approved" methods into morally questionable grounds.
